WHAT’S NEW IN JOUNIEH
Have you been to La Crêperie lately?
Lebanon’s historic restaurant, located on a hill overlooking Jounieh Bay, recently unveiled Jnaynet La Crêperie in its magnificent garden. The new outdoor eatery specializes in Lebanese cuisine, offering classic Lebanese dishes as well as reinterpretations of local specialties made with unusual and creative ingredients. You can still enjoy the crêpes for which the restaurant is famous on one side of the garden, but a special section is now devoted entirely to the new menu, offering diners an exciting culinary affair in a beloved setting. Offbeat specials include stuffed grape leaves made with blackberries (tout), a thyme salad with green olives topped with roasted zaatar sage bread, and open kebbe adorned with delightfully sweet and tart cherries. For dessert, you can choose the fresh fruit salad made with figs or the decadent maamoul stuffed with dates and ashta and accompanied by warm chocolate sauce, among many other options. Add to that a splendid view over Lebanon’s most spectacular bay and music by the likes of Fairuz, and you have an experience that dazzles each and every one of your senses.
