VILLAGE FOR SALE
Johnny Depp’s fully-furnished private village (no, not villa, village) in the South of France can now be yours. Years after the split from his longtime partner Vanessa Paradis and remarriage to Amber Heard, Johnny Depp has put his village in Plan de la Tour, France on the market.
Depp purchased the 19th-century village in 2001, at which point it had lain vacant for years. He invested approximately $10 million into the renovation and lived there with Paradis and their children while on breaks from his acting career.
The actor chose to do the decorating himself; the village even includes a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed wine cellar.
It features a church converted into a guesthouse, with a confessional transformed into a wardrobe.
There’s also a restaurant, garage, and laundry, all designed to look like local business.
The village is listed for $26 million by Côte d’Azur Sotheby’s International Realty. The price includes furniture as well as many of Depp’s personal belongings.
