TONY SALAME’S DIARY: DAY 7. GOODBYE NY. HELLO LA.
(Left) This is Randall. He always makes our trip at the Four Seasons Hotel. (Center) For the ultimate guided tour we were joined by Cecilla Alemani, chief curator of New York’s High Line. (Right) A sculpture by Andra Ursuta, an artist that we love at Aïshti Foundation.
(Left) Sant Ambroeus is a great breakfast and cappuccino place. I hear it’s Richard Prince’s favorite. (Center) Before we travel to LA, we have just enough time for a last lunch at Gramercy Tavern. (Right) Now in LA, we go straight the Pacific Design Center.
(Left) On route to Stefan Sagmeister’s show at the MOCA, LA. (Center) Sagmeister’s exhibition, “The Happy Show.” (Right) What an unbelievable exhibition!
(Left) With Jeffrey Deitch and David Salle at the preview of Urs Fischer‘s show, running at the MOCA. Aïshti Foundation helped by contributing. (Center) A stunning waxwork sculpture from the show. (Right) For dinner we head to Sasabune in LA. It might not be fancy but it is where you can find the best sushi.
