TONY SALAME’S DIARY: DAY 5. BREAKFAST WITH A GRAPHIC DESIGNER AND DINNER WITH AN ARCHITECT
(Center) We have been coming to The Four Seasons hotel for 20 years. From time to time I will try out new hotels, but I will always come back here as it’s my favorite place to stay in New York.
(Left) The day starts with breakfast at the hotel. We’re joined by Stefane Sagmeister and Jessica Walsh to finalize the new Aïshti campaign. This weekend Stefane will be receiving a prestigious industry award from the AIGA, a graphic designer’s highest honour. (Center) Later we check out the Alberto Burri show at Luxembourg and Dayan, really like this one. (Right) For lunch we went to The Mark Restaurant. Their truffle pizza is a must!

(Left) One of Hundley’s great paintings at Andrea Rosen. (Center) For Dinner we meet up with the renowned architect Howard Elkus, who came all the way from Boston, pictured here with my wife Elham. Our thoughts go out to all those affected by the recent tragic events in Boston. (Right) Patrick’s behind the bar. It’s a real treat to be served by him.
