SECOND TIME AROUND IN MANHATTAN
Restaurateur Mark Barak opened a second outpost of his popular eatery in Midtown Manhattan.
As in the original Nomad location, the new La Pecora Bianca offers an Italian menu with a variety of pasta and vegetable dishes, courtesy of chef Cruz Goler, in addition to grab-and-go meals, salads, sandwiches and desserts. Menu highlights include pappardelle with porcini mushrooms and lemon zest, linguini with mussels, rock shrimp and fennel and the signature dish, gramigna with homemade sausage, broccoli rabe and chili flakes. Wine lovers will be happy to know that the entire wine list Italian, including organic rosé and white wines. La Pecora Bianca gives us yet one more reason to hit Midtown Manhattan.
