ON THE ROAD WITH CARTIER
Cartier has released its latest video for Juste un Clou, and we’re totally smitten.
Originally designed in the 1970s in New York by Aldo Cipullo, the first Juste un Clou bracelet reflected a wild, freewheeling era, much like what director Christian Larson is expressing in the jewelry house’s recent video . Celebrating freedom and independence, mischief and carefreeness, the road movie follows two young women and a skateboarder donning the bracelet (which comes in yellow or rose gold) paved with diamonds and a gray gold torque necklace also paved with diamonds.
Swedish film and music video director Larson has worked with musicians like Kylie Minogue, Sigur Rós and Swedish House Mafia and directed commercials and editorials for i-D Magazine, Agent Provocateur and Beats by Dre. His film Valtari won a Swedish Grammy for Best Video in 2013 and Best Choreography at the UK Music Video Awards in 2013 as well. We wouldn’t expect anything less from him for Cartier, and he’s still managed to take us by surprise.
