MFW: ALBERTA FERRETTI
Alberta Ferretti’s spring/summer 2016 collection is fit for a Coachella wood nymph.
“I wanted a free woman with a strong personality,” Ferretti told reporters backstage. “I started with the desert – not specifically African or American or Indian, but a desert that was free. That was important. I wanted it to be easy, romantic, sexy – for a real woman, today.”
Jewels and accessories also played a strong role. According to the designer, “Jewelry is important at the moment because it gives a lightness, it’s precious, it allows a woman to demonstrate her personality.”
