MARC JACOBS BOWS OUT OF VUITTON
Marc Jacobs’ show for Louis Vuitton this morning will be his last for the French house. After weeks of speculation, LVMH chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault announced today that Jacobs is leaving Louis Vuitton after 16 years to focus on his own label. The news comes as LVMH prepares for an IPO on Marc Jacobs. Rumor has it Nicolas Ghesquière will replace Jacobs, but there are no hard feelings – Arnault led a standing ovation as the designer took his final bow for the house.
