LENNY DOES BASEL
Lenny Kravitz turns his camera on the paparazzi in a new exhibition for Art Basel Miami, which opens today.
Kravitz began the project, entitled “Flash,” when he found himself being interrupted from his attempts to take pictures by fans and paparazzi. He told Vanity Fair, “I just stood there one day, and I turned the camera on them. And I started shooting them,” he says. “I think I was doing it more to annoy them. But it became an exercise. And as this kept happening, I figured, well, this is what I’m being offered, so I might as well shoot it.”
