“Why Have There Been No Great Women Artists?” was the leading question of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Dior SS18 collection. Indiscreetly referencing Linda Nochlin’s 1971 article about the institutional barriers women artists faced (she actually left a print on every guest’s chair). We’ve got to admit that the art and fashion world still hold women back on some occasions, and Chiuri’s using her voice to channel that.
