HOUSE ON A DUNE
Architect Chad Oppenheim’s latest creation, a whitewashed and pale wood paradise, is a lesson in less is more. With the Bahamas as its backdrop, the house focuses on comfort and simplicity, leaving the razzle-dazzle to the lush foliage and sparkling Caribbean Sea.
With an elegant, open-plan layout and an emphasis upon outdoor space,”House on a Dune” allows light and air to flow through the home.
Even the kitchen is sparse: Oppenheim included tricks to hide visible light fixtures or appliances that would lose the home’s timeless feel.
