GUCCI’S ART MURAL
Let’s talk about yet another amazing collaboration. Gucci announced it’s partnership with Colossal Media, a frontrunner in hand painted outdoor advertising, in order to highlight the beauty and uniqueness of the almost forgotten art form of hand painted outdoor advertising.
That said, they’re taking over a large 2,500 square foot mural in New York City for 2017, located in the heart of Soho.
Creative Director Alessandro Michele launched with artwork by Jayde Fish, a San Francisco-based illustrator that Michele discovered on Instagram. Several of her illustrations have already been featured in Gucci’s Women’s Spring Summer 2017 collection.
This first illustration was painted over the course of 6 days, and its debut coincides with New York Fashion week and will remain until the end of March. A Snapchat geofilter created by the artist herself will be available in the vicinity of the artwork.
