Gee, Gucci, you’ve outdone yourself this time (just kidding, you outdo yourself every single time).
For its eyewear collection, the house just released this charming film by Petra Collins, who imagines a Hungarian Dream, casting her fabulous little Hungarian cousins.
In a nutshell, children are the most random of all creatures. They steal their grannies’ shiny funky Gucci sunglasses when she doses off in front of the TV and they rave in a glamorous, whimsical dream world filled with models, glittery grannies and modern Iris Apfel-ish bedazzled glasses.
Petra explained, “The eyewear is so playful and is something you put on and look through to feel different. The kids portray that. Their world is so big and so mysterious. When they put on my grandma’s sunglasses they imagine a whole new exciting world.”
We never knew we could have an eyewear craving this strong. Don’t believe us? Just watch.
