FRANCO ON DEL REY
If there’s one thing the world has been dying to read, it’s James Franco’s meditations on Lana Del Rey.
The eternally bedroom-eyed actor James Franco has written a book on his muse and friend, singer Lana Del Rey. To be titled Flip-Side: Real and Imaginary Conversations With Lana Del Rey the book, as expected, contains a combination of real and fictional interviews, and is cowritten with author David Shields.
Franco had previously written a poem about Del Rey in V Magazine, in which he declared “The only difference between Lana and me is her haunting voice. That carries everything… I don’t like vampires and bikers in my life, but I like them in my art…. Lana lives in her art, and when she comes down to earth for interviews, it gets messy, because she isn’t made for this earth.”
