D FOR DIOR, D FOR DREAM
On the occasion of Dior’s Spring 2017 couture show, the Musée Rodin’s whole interior was transformed into an enchanting garden maze with a wishing tree as a centerpiece, and a ceiling mirror reflecting the mystical scene ornamented with gems and charms.
What Maria Grazia Chiuri wanted us to do was dream. With a Dior-Ball-meets-Little-Red-Riding-Hood in an enchanted forest with intricate natural beings as masks and delicate floral and feather headpieces, we can’t really refute her hypothesis, can we?
Churi’s first Dior couture collection was dedicated to the late Franca Sozzani. We can all agree that it was a breathtakingly beautiful tribute.
