BEYONCÉ FOR THE WIN
Congratulations Beyoncé on your 9 Grammy nominations!
The style icon has taken the world by storm since, well, forever.
With time, we all got to discover that Beyoncé can do it all – she explored all the different genres and adapted them to her own style. Nevertheless, she never stopped at that: her last two albums, “Beyoncé” and “Lemonade”, were visual albums; giving us a full feel of her world with beautiful imagery and touching statements.
Her world also includes some of our favorite designer clothing. Let’s explore her winning looks.
Nominated as “Best Music Video”, “Song of the Year” and “Record of the Year”: Formation
For her Formation music video, Beyoncé wears not one, not two, but three mouthwatering Gucci outfits. She wears two total looks from Alessandro Michele’s SS collection, the graphic red blouse and skirt pair then a pastel dress. Furthermore, she equipped an army of dancers with GG bodysuits as an “homage to Gucci, celebrating its past and present.”
Her visual album “Lemonade” was nominated as “Album of the Year”,“Best Music Film” and “Best Urban Contemporary Album”. Her Lemonade looks were as appealing as the cinematography.
Nominated as “Best Pop Solo Performance”: Hold Up
In Hold Up, Beyoncé stuns in a romantic mustard, ruffled and lacy Roberto Cavalli fall 2016 dress paired with Saint Laurent shoes. The dress broke twitter after the video release. Peter Dundas must be proud.
Nominated as “Best Rap/Sung Performance”: Freedom ft. Kendrick Lamar
In the most elevating track on the album, Beyoncé glows in a Maria Lucia Hohan resort 2016 dress.
Last but not least, the final exterior shot for “Six Inch” reveals Beyoncé in a floral Gucci suit. The song might not be nominated, but we’re rooting for the ensemble.
