B&B: BEIT DOUMA
Douma in Phoenician means “calm and rest” and the bed and breakfast Beit Douma lives up to the name.
Located in Douma, one of the most well-preserved villages in Lebanon, up in the mountains of Batroun, at an altitude of over 1000 meters.
The house is like something from an old movie, made of stone, with a red roof, yellow blinds and arched windows in the middle of the countryside? It’s there, in Douma, Batroun, Lebanon. That house will feel like home, surrounded by olive groves and apple orchards. The mountain home includes six guest rooms, each with their private bathrooms and their own mountain view.
It’s the perfect getaway to just enjoy a nice and breezy evening, have a good night’s sleep surrounded with fresh air, and wake up to a traditional Lebanese breakfast on the terrace under a shade of trees.
