Barbie rolls out the newest Moschino doll — and has a boy in their ads for the first time ever.
Just a few years ago it was taboo for boys to play with Barbies, generally considered a “just for girls” toy. But times are changing, and the new Moschino Barbie commercial features an adorable kid who looks like Jeremy Scott’s mini-me. “Moschino Barbie is soooooo fierce,” he says.
A step forward for gender, a step forward for cuteness.
The new Barbies sold out within an hour after launching.
