SUPPORT FREE FASHION EDUCATION
On Wednesday, November 30, hundreds from Beirut’s thriving creative community, designers, artists, and fashion enthusiasts, attended the Creative Space Graduate Fashion Show at Dar El Nimer. The live fashion show, followed by a static exhibition, impressed the attendees who stuck around to take a closer look at the school’s first graduating class’ creations.
Heba Nahle, Aline Seukunian, Fatima Nourelddine and Roni Helou are the first who had to complete the free three-year program.
For those unfamiliar with the non-profit, Creative Space Beirut is a free school for fashion design that aims to promote equal opportunity into the creative sector and makes the design world accessible for those who are gifted but don’t necessarily have the means to pursue a degree at increasingly expensive institutions.
This first new-alumni collection was up for sale, and the proceeds generated are reinvested in the school. There was also a donation section for those who were interested in directly supporting the school and what it stands for.

This Tuesday, December 13, Creative Space Beirut will be holding an open house in Mar Mikhael, displaying and selling the remaining pieces from the students’ collections.
