The first contemporary design gallery in the Middle East, Carwan Gallery will host a special opening for Beirut Design Week. Currently on show, The Pond House exhibition by Taher Asad-Bakhtiari is an indoor atrium, central to traditional Iranian architecture. With a fountain serving as a cooling chamber during the hot summer months, it is a space ringing of flowing water where guests are invited to lounge in a contemplative atmosphere. Moreover, the exhibition includes a unique collection of modern-day tribal tapestries.
